Upcoming project: ‘First Allies’

As most of us know, Chaske will soon begin filming “First Allies.” And according to the most-recent news on the project (http://romesentinel.com/news?newsid=20110816-142051) work is slated to start this spring.

With that said, here’s a little more information on the project.

The movie is based on the book “Forgotten Allies” by history professors Joseph T. Glatthaar and James Kirby Martin. It tells the story of the Oneida Tribe during the American Revolution, of their sacrifice, courage and battle.

Filming will take place throughout Central New York and the project is being funded by the Oneida Indian Nation.

At this time, there is no information on which part Chaske will be playing. As soon as information is released, we’ll be sure to post it here. Stay tuned!
